Friday of light and shadows for CM Racing Team and Luca Bernardi in Assen

First day of practice on the historic and fascinating Assen track for the #cmracingteam and #lucabernardi, with many encouraging signs and some difficulties to work on. The talented rider from San Marino closed the day 1 in 14th position, after a positive FP1 and a more troubled FP2.

In the first session Bernardi immediately took the measures of the Dutch track, known in the past only with 300cc bikes, completing a total of 18 laps and obtaining a positive ninth position thanks to a time of 1'38"851, a few tenths from the top five.

In the afternoon session the number 29 has worked in view of both race and qualifying, but encountering some difficulties more than expected. Luca in fact was not able to improve on his FP1 time, finishing FP2 in 17th place and obtaining P14 in the combined classification of the two sessions.

Now it's time for the #cmracingteam to analyse the large amount of data collected, before tackling Saturday's race in the best possible way. The Superpole, at 10.25, and Race 1 at 15.15 will be both on the agenda. The entire show will be visible live on Sky Sport MotoGP, channel 208 of Sky.

Luca Bernardi: "This morning we started off on the right foot, while in the afternoon some set-up changes didn't bring the desired results, so I wasn't able to improve on my best time. Despite this we are not far from our ideal technical condition, so looking ahead to tomorrow I'm very confident, and I trust completely in the work of the team".
