METZELER and its riders dominate at the Italian GP. In the Enduro GP Brad Freeman confirmed his leadership and victories were not missed even in the E1, E3 and Youth classes.

The Italian GP was held in the home of Italian enduro, Edolo (Bs). METZELER and its riders have been as always protagonists conquering podiums and victories with Josep Garcia, Steve Holcombe, Davide Guarneri, Harry Edmondson, Albin Norrbin and Roni Kytonen but Brad Freeman is the real unstoppable leader of the Italian GP.

Edolo (Italy), June 28th - The second round of the FIM Enduro World Championship was staged in Edolo, a small village in the Camonica Valley near the Mortirolo Pass and the Motoclub Sebino has created a race path of the highest level with three special tests that have put a strain on all participating riders.

The top riders raced on a hard, dusty terrain, with some roots in the Enduro Test alternating with a sandy terrain full of loose stones in the special test Extreme, located along the river Oglio.

In the Enduro GP Brad Freeman, Team Beta Factory Enduro rider, won the two days of competition conquering the table of the class leader. Third position instead on Saturday for the KTM Factory rider Josep Garcia.

Another METZELER rider, Steve Holcombe (Team Beta Factory Enduro), made a historic achievement on Sunday, winning the third place despite the injury to two ribs.

METZELER celebrates the double win in the E1 class of the official GasGas rider Andrea Verona, currently leader of the class. Two second places for the home rider Davide Guarneri Fantic Factory Team E/50 Racing. Both METZELER riders are equipped with METZELER MCE 6 DAYS EXTREME.

METZELER official rider Steve Holcombe (Team Beta Factory Enduro) did not arrive in Italy in the best shape due to a rib injury suffered during the Portuguese GP. Anyway in Italy, the Beta Factory rider defended himself by conquering another precious podium of the season. Positive race for Josep Garcia, official KTM rider, who got on the podium in both race days at the Italian GP.

An incredible start of the season for the METZELER rider Brad Freeman who also in Italy won both days of the race in the E3 class and is currently the leader with full points.

In the Junior 1 class Rony Kytonen (Team Honda RedMoto) took two second places but failed to shine in the Junior class.

METZELER celebrates the successes in the Youth with Fantic riders Harry Edmondson (Fantic JET Racing) and Albin Narrbin (Fantic Darpa Racing Team) leading the Youth. In both race days the Youth podium is totally composed by FANTIC riders equipped with METZELER MCE 6 DAYS EXTREME.

The FIM EnduroGP World Championship is now taking a short break before returning in July with the double appointment of the GP of Estonia and Sweden.
