Excellent performance of Luca Bernardi and the CM Racing Team in the last preseason test in Aragon

The last two days of preseason testing for #cmracingteam and #lucabernardi have ended on the ups and downs of Aragon, and they are now looking forward with great confidence to the first round of their debut season in the WorldSSP championship, scheduled for 21-22-23 May at Motorland. The #test at the Aragonese circuit was an important examination for the San Marino rider, who for the first time was able to ride his Yamaha YZF-R6 on the winding Aragonese track.

In the first day Luca started to get familiar with the track, known in the past only riding the Yamaha R3, acquiring many useful information. The young rider of the #cmracingteam has certainly not lacked the desire to ride, which has collected 66 total passes, with a 1'56 "278 as the best time of the day.

Exactly as in the last tests in Barcelona, on day 2 Bernardi has made an important step forward. In fact, on the second day Luca was able to improve his time by more than a second, getting closer to the best and obtaining an excellent 1'55"093, in the best of 60 laps covered during the day.

With a total of 126 laps and an excellent time reference, the 2020 Italian champion and the Roman team can leave Spain with a smile on their faces, knowing that they can have their say in a growing and levelled category like Supersport.

Luca Bernardi: "It's definitely been a positive #test, I'm satisfied. In the first day I tried to understand the track and the bike, without haste since I had to deal with many new elements. On the second day the work done on the previous day started to pay off, allowing me to feel much more comfortable on the bike. The team is really helping me to understand the bike quickly, as well as working hard, and I really have to thank them for that".

Manuel Cappelletti (Team Director): "We arrived in Aragon with the aim of creating a good base set-up for the first race of the season, as Luca had never ridden a 600cc at this track, and we can be satisfied. The times we set were interesting, and Luca's comments helped us to get on the right track. Now we just have to start the season, for which we have great expectations".
