How many offices fit inside an office?
The new reality poses global challenges that are forcing companies to transform, towards a more flexible work system, without constraints or predetermined formulas, while focussing on what really matters: ideas, projects and people.
This change in business culture has a direct impact on how corporate spaces are designed; by optimising them and getting the most out of them through adaptable and versatile furniture solutions, capable of responding to all usage needs.
Castalla/Alicante, 16th March 2021.- In just twelve months, work models and workspaces have undergone a transformation due to the ubiquity of emerging technologies and the need to safeguard people's health with dynamic and flexible ways of working, to which the agile methodology offers the perfect response to foster more sustainable and people-centred ways of working in multifunctional spaces.
Presential work now requires offices as we knew them to be readapted. The time has come to configure safe environments which incorporate solutions that improve space, productivity and, in turn, worker satisfaction. "Projects and results will undergo increased improvement, entrusting more responsibility to users and making them feel more confident through versatile spaces that optimise resources and boost well-being" explains Soledat Berbegal, Actiu´s Counselor and Head of Corporate Reputation.
To simplify the process, #Actiu, leader in creating and designing workspaces, has launched the "AGILE Guide", the aim of which is to help companies and workers to effectively build this new reality, with advice on how to #design any collaborative space with specific proposals that include the AGILE by Actiu Collection, a range of solutions for adapting offices to this methodology.
Improvements at all levels
The agile methodology makes it possible to set out and #design a workspace by taking into account how it will be used and the range of tasks to be performed in that environment from the point of view of functionality and optimal productivity.
In contrast to the traditional hierarchical concept of always working in the same space, the new reality poses global challenges that are forcing companies to transform, to change their structure, processes and their spaces, towards a more flexible work system, without constraints or predetermined formulas, while focussing on what really matters: ideas, projects and people.
Agile favours flexibility in the interests of creativity and well-being. It seeks to create value and innovation through collaboration between people and technologies that, in turn, reduces operating costs. A model where it is important for team members to have a space they can call their own and where they can pool their talent and creativity. Companies must foster this contact as well as face-to-face collaborative work, with maximum security measures in place.
The agile methodology leads to high levels of employee satisfaction and longer-term retention, improved productivity and a reduction in other related costs. Agile is based on placing trust in the team and entrusting them with responsibilities, enabling each employee to work when, where and how he/she wishes in a multifunctional manner, where objectives are at the heart thereof.
Agile spaces

In this regard, the guide looks at two types of environments, from the most to the least complex, providing proposals to generate multiple agile configurations, from a fully multipurpose space to a smaller operational space. It also incorporates sample configurations by way of inspiration.
