Tag Heuer extends partnership with ABB Fia Formula e World Championship
- #formulae founding partner #tagheuer extends long-term partnership
- The Swiss luxury watchmaker will continue as Official Timekeeper of the Championship, with drivers now competing for the #tagheuer Fastest Lap
London, England, (February 24, 2021) - Ahead of the 2020/21 #abbfiaformulaeworldchampionship season opener in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, #tagheuer has extended its #formulae collaboration with a new, multi-year #partnership.
Having worked closely with #formulae since the Championship’s inception, #tagheuer will continue to use its expertise as Official Timekeeper of the Championship and bring the #partnership to life by awarding the #tagheuer Fastest Lap in each E-Prix.
The collaboration between #tagheuer and #formulae has a true impact on the sport as the driver who claims the #tagheuer Fastest Lap is awarded one additional point, bringing them one step closer to winning the #abbfiaformulaeworldchampionship. From Season 7, fans can get involved too as #tagheuer Fastest Lap becomes part of the #formulae Predictor game.
The #partnership extension will see #tagheuer continue its long involvement in motorsport and maintain its strong connection across the #formulae paddock both as title partner of the #tagheuer Porsche #formulae Team and with double #formulae Champion Jean-Éric Vergne as brand ambassador.
