Grill, Diabla’s most graphic and light collection

GRILL transmits the essence of geometry whilst contrasting and merging its mathematical character both in outdoor and indoor spaces. Award-winning contemporary #design icon conceived by Alberto Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón, founders of MUT #design, GRILL stands out for its noticeable personality and aesthetic that brings it closer to the category of sculptural object. GRILL invites us to imagine that Mondrian’s vision can be transformed into an element of daily use to be enjoyed from a free and everyday perspective.

Each one of the pieces from the GRILL collection speaks visually a linear and light language and blurs the limits that separate interior space from exterior. These elements, as functional as they are decorative are made with textured, thermo-lacquered aluminum square sectioned tubes and captivate with their clean and architectural character and the visual strength of the flowing lines that form its skeleton, inspired by traditional iron grids.

It is a versatile collection of outdoor furniture, made up of chairs and armchairs with or without armrests, a sofa, a high-chair and several table models, allowing for an infinite number of combinations in order to create different spaces and atmospheres. These are pieces made of welded aluminum, light, easy to move and even stackable (in the particular case of the armless chair) and suitable for private environments and large facilities: bar and restaurant terraces and hotel lobbies, among others.

The extra comfort in sofas and armchairs is provided by the generous mats that structure the seats and backs, all of them removable and filled with polyurethane rubber-foam, covered with water-repellent fabric. They are made with special outdoor fabrics in different textures and shades.

In the words of its creators, the GRILL #design "is very modern, however it can also fit into rustic environments and at the same time, in other more contemporary spaces. In a classic environment it can bring a casual touch without being loud. It can be played around with". Its aesthetic power finds the best counterpoint in the personality of shades of the #diabla colour chart.
