AlpinerX Alive: three titanium collector’s editions

The latest AlpinerX Alive was created through dialogue between the brand and its community. While the four configurations that enjoyed the most success via the online configuration tool now feature in the current collection, fans of #alpina also expressed desire for a titanium version. Ever attentive to them, the brand has subsequently developed a very exclusive limited series, only available online – the first AlpinerX Alive Titanium. A collector’s series of less than 99 pieces.

A special connection

Alpina and its community are effectively one. Attentive to its end customers, the brand has established a permanent dialogue with them, which in practical terms regularly results in the development of pieces that align with their expectations. This is how the latest AlpinerX Alive models came to be created, the result of configurations created online by the fans themselves in the months leading up to the official launch.

The new AlpinerX Alive followed the same route. Alpina’s online community asked for a version in titanium, a material three times more durable than steel, but half the weight. Such properties mean this metal is particularly well-suited to an urban and sporty watch made for everyday wear. Lightweight, to say nothing of its resistance to shocks and scratches, it’s perfect for the AlpinerX Alive.

Calling all collectors!

The new 45 mm titanium case will be limited to 99 pieces and three versions. The first is the most exclusive the only AlpinerX Alive to date with a metal strap. Also made of titanium, it complements the satin-finished bezel in the same material, while the black dial features white index hour markers and hands.

The second version embraces a beige calfskin strap with white topstitching and a black bezel a modern retro design widely acclaimed by the #alpina community and inspired by a model in the current collection but presented here in a strictly limited series with a titanium case and a grey dial.

The third and final version evokes the call of the sea, owing to its midnight blue dial. This design is also the only one to feature a titanium case on a rubber strap, also in blue, serving to reinforce the piece’s sporty feel.

Lifestyle companion

The AlpinerX Alive includes a new generation heart rate sensor developed by Philips Wearable Sensing, as well as built-in GPS, not to mention a tracker to monitor VO2 max and hydration. These features are offered in addition to the perpetual calendar, GMT, chronograph, activity monitor, sleep tracker and personalised notifications. All of this is now available on a new high resolution AMOLED touch screen. And the rechargeable battery provides up to seven days of complete autonomy.

The versions on a leather or rubber strap are priced at €1,395, while the version on a titanium strap comes in at €1,695. To strengthen ties with its community, #alpina has also decided to offer an additional discount. The first 20 customers will benefit from a special price: 976 for the versions on a calfskin or rubber strap, €1186 for the version on a titanium strap.
