The Carlsberg Foundation announces change in the future representation of the Foundation on the Supervisory Board of Carlsberg Group

The #carlsberg Group has been notified by The #carlsberg Foundation, the Group’s long-term controlling shareholder, about proposed changes in the #carlsberg Foundation’s representation on the Supervisory Board of #carlsberg Group.

The #carlsberg Foundation is governed by a Board consisting of five members elected by and among the Danish members of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters. Since 1970, when #carlsberg Group became listed, all five members of the board of the #carlsberg Foundation have traditionally also been members of the Supervisory Board of #carlsberg Group.

Today, the #carlsberg Foundation has announced that it has been decided that, at the Annual General Meeting in 2023, only two members of the Foundation board will be proposed as candidates for the #carlsberg Group’s Supervisory Board, one of which will be the Chair of the Foundation and the other will be elected from and by the Foundation’s board.
