Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN and Livinguard team up for a safe return of the racing season
Hinwil, 10th February 2021 – Hygiene technology leader #livinguard has joined Sauber Motorsport, which operates and manages the #alfaromeoracingorlen entry in the Formula One world championship, to supply race team, engineers, and ground staff with state-of-the-art #health and #safety solutions ahead of the 2021 season.
With the world still grappling with the Covid-19 pandemic and an increased focus on keeping personnel safe at racetracks and in the daily affairs at HQ, the need for reliable and sustainable hygiene solutions is paramount to unlock the emotions of the #racing season for millions of fans worldwide. The #partnership between Sauber Motorsport and #livinguard will tap into these crucial requirements, delivering some of the most advanced protective gear on the market – while also minimising waste and the use of resources.
Sauber Motorsport personnel on and off the track will sport the distinctive #livinguard masks, scientifically proven to destroy more than 99.9% of SARS-CoV-2 viruses. The company’s products also include high-tech gloves and other protective gear designed to stop the spread of viruses and bacteria– whatever the conditions.

Details on #livinguard Antiviral Technology
The principle underlying the #livinguard Technology is to apply a positive charge at the molecular level to textile surfaces. When microbes come into contact with these positive charges, the microbial cell, which is negatively charged, is deactivated, leading to permanent destruction of the microorganism. Moreover, #livinguard Technology deactivates continuously and allows users to reuse masks up to 210 times with no compromise on #safety or efficacy.
