Kawasaki Puccetti Racing – Ecco il calendario provvisorio 2021!

Press release available only in original language.

Kawasaki Puccetti #racing - Here is the provisional 2021 calendar!

The FIM Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme and Dorna have made public today the provisional calendar of the 2021 Superbike and Supersport World Championships. As for the Superbike, there will be thirteen rounds in all, while the Supersport 600 World Championship will play twelve.

The season will start on the weekend of 23-25 April in the Cathedral of Speed, as the Assen circuit in the Netherlands is defined. Two appointments are scheduled to follow in May: at Estoril in Portugal, which this year joined for the first time the Superbike circuits, and at Motorland Aragon in Spain. The weekend of 11-13 June will finally return to Italy, where unfortunately no races were held in 2020. The Misano World Circuit will host the three championships, while in the following round, scheduled from 2 to 4 July at Donington Park in England, only the riders of the Superbike class will compete.
The summer break will be very long and will be back on track only in early September at the Nevers Magny Cours circuit in France. The month of September includes three appointments and after the French round it will be the turn of the Circuit de Barcellona-Catalunya and the Circuito de Jerez, both in Spain.

The ninth round is scheduled for early October at the Autodromo do Algarve in Portimao in Portugal, which will probably be the last European round. In fact, the calendar includes four more rounds, three outside Europe one still to be assigned.
The tenth round will take place from 15 to 17 October at the San Juan Villicum Circuit in Argentina. From South America the Superbike and Supersport circus will move to Indonesia, to the brand new Mandalika International Street Circuit in Lombok from 12 to 14 November. Penultimate stage in Australia (dates yet to be defined) on the historic Phillip Island circuit, while the thirteenth round is the one still to be assigned.

Naturally, this is a provisional calendar, which at the moment we believe can only be trusted as regards the European races.
Kawasaki Puccetti #racing will have time to prepare the new ZX-10RR Superbike presented recently in the Jerez tests, for its rider Lucas Mahias, for his debut in the top category. Both the French rider and the two Supersport class riders, the confirmed Philipp Oettl and the new entry Can Oncu, will not interrupt their physical preparation, and will be ready for the start of the championships, also thanks to some winter tests that the Team Principal #manuelpuccetti is planning.
