Montegrappa Configurator turns two this month, and since its launch, countless new designs have been created: each with their own unique origin story. Throughout 2020, the urge to innovate has reached new highs, propelled by restlessness and more time for reflection. As the end of the year beckons, we all share the desire to turn the page – and get back to doing things on our own terms. 

You'll be amazed by how far your talents take you on the world's only pen design platform. Archive classics like the Extra and Extra Otto take on new guises with spectacular contrasts of exotic and precious materials. Alongside a vast celluloid palette, decorative sterling silver and 18K gold finishes signal a desire to escape norms. Faceted synthetic stones add dazzle to obvious points of difference.
 
Heavy-duty hardware and vivid colours have made the entry-level ZERO Custom one of the year's undisputed hits. With ten different personalisation points and three writing modes, many are using ZERO's perfect geometry to make bold statements. Generous engraving options make it possible to add a personal mantra, or a dedication for a gift. 

Montegrappite artisanal resin has been a popular addition to the ZERO Custom dashboard, with semi-translucent textures that lend zing and intrigue, while reducing the environmental footprint of conventional acrylics.

As we head towards the holiday period, Monday 14 December is the final day we can accept Configurator orders for Christmas delivery. Try your hand at creating your own extraordinary writing instrument, and let it express as much sentiment and resolve as you are willing to give it.
