They have been collaborating for many years with #pianca, expressing its corporate identity in different ways and on various occasions, including the recent Gaiarine showroom restyling, catalogue set designs, stand designs for Salone del Mobile and, of course, product #design. Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla also feature in the Day Collection with their latest designs created for #pianca: Laurie and Baio.

Laurie has all the principle features of an armchair but is designed to be agile and informal like a chair, a perfect addition in any area of the home, from the living area to the bedroom. Its compact, contemporary #design communicates comfort in the cocooning shape of the seat. The structure is composed of two parts, connected by a mechanism borrowed from the automotive industry. The lower shell supports your body, rising to form an integrated armrest, while the oval-shaped curved backrest gently supports your back and shoulders. The cover is available in fabric, leather or synthetic leather and can be combined with a base in a wood or open-pore matt lacquered finish.

The Baio series, which earned a Good #design Award even before going into production, is a mixed family of eccentric tables, with one highly distinctive common feature. The equine inspiration is also reflected in the name of the collection. The iconic image of a herd of horses led to the idea of dressing the table legs with a tapered hoof. Sizes and finishes are available in multiple, mixed combinations. Different tables can be put together in groups and nesting sets to produce free, dynamic compositions.
