Unique line laser with integrated tape measure: Atino from Bosch for DIY users

Easy attachment, alignment, measurement ‒ all in one

  • Easy, do-it-yourself alignment: Position objects straight without the aid of another person
  • Easy, flexible attachment: Sticks to various wall surfaces with a gel pad or pins
  • Easy measurement: Laser line and tape measure for precise marking at same height

Leveling made easy – this is what Atino stands for, Bosch’s first manual line laser with integrated tape measure for DIY users. Its unique concept enables the user to align and attach objects on the wall both quickly and easily, without the need for another person: The round line laser with rotatable housing can be attached to the wall using a gel pad or pins, depending on the texture of the wall. Its laser line can then be aligned horizontally or vertically at 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees. Leveling accuracy is ±0.3 degrees. An LED ring in the center uses a traffic light system to indicate whether or not the tool is properly levelled: If the ring lights up red, the laser line is not properly levelled. If the top half of the ring lights up yellow, the laser line is almost straight – simply turn the housing upwards slightly. If the bottom half of the ring lights up yellow, turn the housing downwards slightly. If the LED ring lights up green, the laser line is correctly levelled. All those alignment errors that so easily creep in when putting up coat hooks, picture frames, shelves and alike, are now a thing of the past.

Easy levelling with intuitive operating concept

Attaching, aligning and measuring with just one tool: Operation of the Atino is intuitive ‒ with flexible wall attachment. On smooth surfaces such as tiles, wood, marble or concrete-look finishes, the line laser simply attaches to the wall with a reusable gel pad. To do this, simply remove the protective cap and press the tool onto the wall at the desired height. For walls with a rough surface, the pin adapter plate is available. Simply replace the gel pad with the pin adapter plate, which holds the Atino in place at the desired position with two small pins. Then switch on the line laser with its one-button operation and turn the softgrip-coated housing in the desired direction until the laser line is properly levelled. To enable precise marking of the first reference point, the Atino is equipped with a marking hole in the center of the device. Using the pull-out tape measure, all other markings can then be made along the laser line up to a distance of 1.5 meters. This allows you to position anything from wall mirrors to curtain poles or TV mounts both quickly and accurately.

The Atino is available from September. All prices are recommended retail prices including sales tax.
