Patrizio Bertelli has been awarded with the Career "Velista dell'Anno - Tribute"

Patrizio Bertelli has been awarded the “Velista dell’Anno – Tribute” organized by Giornale della #vela, in recognition of his 50 years of sailing and 20 years of the America’s Cup, always at top levels, first Italian to be inducted in the America’s Cup Hall of Fame, in 2012.

A long career, as sailor and owner, marked by six America’s Cup campaigns and several international achievements in various boat classes, classic and not.

Patrizio Bertelli commented: “I am thankful for this award, that I believe should also be extended to the larger Luna Rossa team, that embraces all of those who have worked in the team over the last 20 years. They are my friends, the sailors with whom I go sailing. We are a team in the team. We recognize each other from afar. And I dedicate the award to my wife, Miuccia, who has always supported me and encouraged me in the America’s Cup projects."
