Live Virtual Local Views at PAMM: Samantha Oakey

Join us for Live Virtual Local Views at PAMM with Samantha Oakey. A member of PAMM's Education team, her Christian faith informs every aspect of her life and is her strongest drive for making art. The years her family spent unemployed and living in others' homes are the root of her work's exploration of her identity through a sense of place and home, as well as change and entropy.

Enjoy PAMM Storytime from home! Join us every fourth Saturday of the month as preschoolers build foundations for literacy and discover the enjoyment of reading with an in-gallery story reading and art-making inspired by works currently on view in our digital museum. This Saturday's book will be "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak.

Join us for Live Virtual Local Views at PAMM with Monica Sorelle. A Haitian-American filmmaker based in Miami, Sorelle is a member of Third Horizon, a creative collective dedicated to developing, exhibiting, and distributing work that gives voice to stories of the Caribbean, its diaspora, and other marginalized and underrepresented spaces in the Global South.
