Hannover, 5 May 2020: #Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is extending the warranty periods for new vehicles. This applies globally to all Amarok, Caddy, T6/T6.1 and Crafter series vehicles with new-vehicle or extended warranties expiring in the period 1 March to 31 May 2020. The extension is valid for three months after expiry of the original new-vehicle or extended warranty. VWCV Board of Management Member for Sales Heinz-Jürgen Löw: “Traditionally, we offer our customers flexible solutions, so we're therefore extending the warranty period by three months.”
“Due to limited workshop capacities many of our partner businesses all over the world have been and continue to be unable during this difficult coronavirus crisis to offer the usual vehicle maintenance service”, says Löw. “Over the last few weeks, many of our customers around the world have encountered significant limitations when wanting to have work done under their new vehicle warranty.”
The three-month warranty extension is a one-off, voluntary concession in order to help customers in the exceptional situation caused by Covid-19.
