Arik Levy’s Structural Ceiling Light
Created by #ariklevy, Vibia’s Structural ceiling light is a study in sleek geometry. Arik Levy’s Structural Ceiling Light A contemporary reimagining of primitive coal-burning braziers, Structural’s crisp profile is composed of a series of cubic volumes affixed to the ceiling. Slender metal rods both join and separate the glowing boxes, disconnecting the light from its power source and casting it precisely where needed. Its lean rails stand in counterpoint to the fixed rectangular forms and create a masterful modernist silhouette across the ceiling. The #design, a rhythmic pattern of light points connected in space, evokes sculptural pieces seamlessly integrated into the architecture. Powered by LEDs that are encased in aluminum, Sculptural bathes a room in a bright wash of indirect light that’s glare-free.
The fixture provides a flexible solution for any interior. Its modules are available in myriad depths and widths and pair with metal rods that take personalised paths across a ceiling. It can be displayed alone or in unique groupings to highlight a room’s architectural features or décor, making a striking minimalist statement.
