Lucas Mahias: “Qualifying didn’t go too badly so I am very happy. To start the race in third position, on the front row, is positive of course. I’ve tried to understand the way the tyre works on the bike and am generally pleased. Our pace for the race is also OK. It is not a long race here and there will be a pit stop in the middle, so I’d say I’m feeling ready!”

Philipp Oettl: “It was an intense practice session because we came into the pits twice and used almost new tyres three times. I am happy with sixth place. We set our best lap time of the week so far, inclusive of testing, so that’s good. This morning we had a pretty consistent pace. I am happy for now, but tomorrow is another day, and anything can happen. In tomorrow’s race I think I will see what my feeling is really worth, whether it’s good or not. I am happy with the team and the work we have done so far.”
