Rivolta Carmignani presents its first Home Collection at Maison Et Objet fair in Paris
Rivolta Carmignani, a long-established company and leader in the production of fine linen for hotels since 1867, launched its first home collection at Maison & Objet.
The quality of its fabrics and tailoring know-how have made it an ambassador of the Made in Italy in the most prestigious hotels and most exclusive restaurants around the world.
Its expertise, made by its history and specialization, will bring the comfort and high quality of a luxury hotel at home for the first time: from the conviviality of a beautifully set table, to the gentle embrace of a relaxing bath, to the intimate pleasure of a welcoming bed.
For over 150 years, Rivolta Carmignani’s production has taken place at its historical headquarter in Macherio, just a few kilometres from Milan. An attentive and in-depth research in the archives of the company by the creative director, Adolfo Carrara, was the starting point from which he drew inspiration for the home collection. The tailoring, the production using jacquard looms and the attention paid to raw materials are the elements that distinguish the #rivoltacarmignani collection.
The new #rivoltacarmignani bed reinterprets the characteristics of tailoring through the Hermitage and Ecurie D’Angers embroidery, the latter characterized by saddle stitching: pillows, bedspreads and sheets made of fine and soft pure cotton satin are available in different variants, colours and models. The Lazy Silk line represents a new way of experiencing silk, a practical and luxurious material, with a special treatment that enhances it a lived-in and contemporary look.
The novelty in the materials that #rivoltacarmignani has selected include hemp, both for the bed collection and for the bath collection. Hemp fibre, thanks to its high resistance and its body heat- regulating function, it is an ideal fabric for the home collection. Exposed to stonewashing, it is very soft when touches the skin.
Part of the table collection, the Victorian tablecloth, with its pure jacquard damask linen, perfectly represents the company and the beauty of the tailoring of its products.
Rivolta Carmignani is the only Italian manufacturer to have an integrated approach that starts from the selection of the finest yarns to the production of the most sophisticated jacquards. Its manufacturing process combines ancient and rare craft skills (cutting, hemming and embroidery by hand) with the latest generation of weaving machines resulting in excellent and durable quality.
