Alexandre Vauthier sparkles with more than 800,000 Swarovski crystals for SS20 haute couture


Paris, January 22, 2020 – #swarovski continues its longstanding #collaboration with #alexandrevauthier for the couturier’s dazzling Spring/Summer 2020 show, held at the Grand Palais. 

Partnering with #swarovski for the 15th time, #alexandrevauthier embellished twelve of his striking haute couture designs with over 800,000 crystals in shades of Jonquil, 

Jet, Black Diamond, Vintage Rose and Erenite. Key pieces included extraordinary crystal transfer tailoring and signature dresses, embroidered flames on two looks and a closing look crystal pinstriped suit worn by #bellahadid. 

Further embellishment included crystallized buttons and brooches, shoes, Goosens jewelry, Alain Mikli sunglasses, belt buckles and headpieces by Maison Michel and Philip Treacy. All embroideries were crafted by Maison Lesage.
