Alpine launches Alpine Eyewear

Alpine Eyewear

Alpine launches #alpineeyewear, its highend glasses made in France. #alpineeyewear glasses are designed to offer visual comfort and enhance the experience behind the wheel of the A110 and further. #alpineeyewear are available with corrective lenses, clear and sun protective, but also as standard sunglasses. #alpineeyewear speaks to those looking for style and sportiness. The brand will be distributed globally through optical centers and online on a dedicated website.

Alpine Eyewear glasses

For the development of its eyewear brand, #alpine has decided to partner with 151 Diffusion, specialized in the creation of highend eyewear collections. 151 Diffusion will manage the design, the manufacturing and the distribution through the world. For its lenses, #alpineeyewear has chosen to work with the French company Novacel, a known and major actor for lenses manufacturing.

Alpine Eyewear will propose various collections (sport/elegance) with different materials, designs, and lenses finish. For the lenses, the knowhow brought by Novacel allows to develop high end lenses with unique colors, especially the iconic #alpine blue one. The Airlis Shock lenses are very resistant to scratches and easy to clean thanks to the super antistatic, hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings.

Alpine Eyewear Première Edition

The first collection created by #alpineeyewear wears the name of “Premiere Edition” after the name A110 Première Edition. As for the car, the first eyewear collection is a numbered limited edition. The men and women glasses are proposed first to the 1955 A110 Premiere Edition customers.

The numbered limited edition uses the codes of the A110: lightness, sportiness and everyday comfort. They combine timeless style and a sporty touch.

Alpine Eyewear frames are made of brushed aluminium, main material used in the A110 body. They will be available in two colors: black, #alpine blue but also in a brushed aluminium finish which reminds the A110 raw body.

Car design cues are also visible on the frame. For instance, the arms bear the shape on the embossed doors, the #alpine logo appears on the hinges of the frames and the arms end reminds the quilting of the A110 seats.

Furthermore, the inside of the arms states, thanks to the French flag, that #alpineeyewear if a 100% French brand. #alpineeyewear first collection can be customized with a short text of the customer’s choice as well as a number to take from the 1955 available.
