Second race, second podium: Stoffel Vandoorne finishes third
Mercedes-Benz EQ Formula E Team successfully concludes first race weekend in ABB FIA Formula E Championship with second podium finish
• #stoffelvandoorne claimed his second podium today
• Nyck de Vries gained 17 positions during the race and finished the Diriyah E-Prix P6 – but a retrospective penalty dropped him out of the points
• Ian James: “The team did an exceptional job during today’s race. Today’s result and also yesterday showed that we as a team are on a promising track.”
• #stoffelvandoorne: “I moved up from eleventh on the grid to finish third, so that was an action-packed race that ended with a good result for me.”
• Nyck de Vries: “Apart from the penalty, I'm pleased with today’s race and our debut weekend!”
