Tests at Valencia and Jerez for Kawasaki Puccetti Racing

Kawasaki Puccetti #racing continues to work tirelessly as, having selected its riders for next season, it will now take part in four days of testing prior to the winter break.
In the #supersport class, Phillip Ottl comes aboard, having moved from the Moto2 championship. To allow the German to have some initial experience with the Kawasaki ZX-6R that he will ride in the 2020 #supersport championship, Manuel Puccetti's team will carry out a two-day test at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in #valencia with Ottl alone on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 November. This will enable Phillip to find the right riding position and start to build confidence with the team's work method.
Unfortunately #lucasmahias will not take part in the end of year winter tests, having injured himself at the same Spanish track during MotoE championship testing. The Frenchman has seriously hurt his right little finger, which will need further treatment and a prolonged recovery period. Lucas will be back on track in time for January tests, in order to prepare for the start of the championship.
Following the two days at #valencia, Kawasaki Puccetti #racing will move Jerez de la Frontera, where the #supersport team will work alongside the Superbike team with rider Xavi Fores. The two squads will take to the Andalucian track kn 28 and 29 November. This marks the Spanish rider's return to #worldsbk and will be his first opportunity to ride the Italian team's ZX-10RR.

Xavi Fores: "the Jerez test will be very important because it's my first contact with the Kawasaki and I can start to get know my team. The Ninja is totally different to the bikes I've ridden both this year in BSB and in previous Superbike seasons. I don't think we'll have to change much as I'm sure the bike will already be competitive and so I'll work on adapting my riding style to the ZX-10RR. I'm sure we're in for two intense days, I can't wait to get to Jerez".

Phillip Ottl: "I'm anxious to get out on track at #valencia and Jerez and am pleased I'll be able to get to know the team and ride my Kawasaki for the first time. I'm curious to ride a bike so different to the Moto2 I've used this season. These will be four important days so because I can use the Pirelli tyres, which are new to me. I feel highly motivated and want to start this new #supersport career in the best possible way".
