THE 2019 CONTEMPORARY WALLPAPER COLLECTION

No Barriers" is the spirit of the #contemporarywallpaper2019 collection, which transcends any kind of cultural and stylistic limit. A vision of "permanent time" in line with Kurt Vonnegut, which embraces an inclusive and synchronous conception of creativity. A world made of different inspirations, the coexistence of different languages, from minimalism to glocal, each with its own stories and suggestions. Progressive Anarchy. A Cabaret Voltaire for our times, where an apparent lack of rules reveals a rigorous rock-bottom, taking in optical-art and cubist quotes as well as irony and cartoony influences. This collection loves monochrome, pairing primal geometry with bold brush strokes. Shines of tribal stars and shines new light on classic floral decors by adding abstract patterns and transparent layers. Intimate Layering. Contributing a new 3-D value to vertical surfaces, in a ton-sur-ton aesthetics. Through addition: with an orchestration of overlapping layers. Through subtraction: with interruptions in surface and rotations between full and empty spaces. Through refraction: with counterpoints of glossy and matt finishings. Feelings get center stage thanks to a rose tone than shifts closer to unsaturated flesh-color, in a never-before-seen opposition with a salmon shade, desaturated as well. Adds grey to create an intimate, introspective dimension. Global Natives. Craftsmen in a global village, where there is no “coming from” but only excellence in the art of making. Essential Wallpaper Collection and Style Colors 2019
Essential Wallpaper Collection - the wallpaper range that redefines the decorative value of material textures. An alternative world compared to great narrative designs, focused on patterns which thrive on repetitions, in geometric progression.A triumph of patterns featuring hues which evoke the earth tones of sienna, ochres, reinforced by gold which confers additional refinement and luminosity. Textures emerge from surfaces, unveiling circular and ethereal geometries which transform into material effect fans, emphasising a sophisticated lightness Small light details in metal support the sheer strength of inlays on surfaces, while also creating repetitions in patterns. Lastly, the intention to broaden the combinability of patterns - already rich in micro-details and inlays – in various colours, is palpable in the re-edition of two textures of the 2017 edition. Therefore, the third edition of the #essentialwallpapercollection consolidates the collaboration between Wall&decò and Studiopepe, renewing itself and reconfirming the flair of Christian Benini. Wallpaper patterns are complemented by five new hues of Style Colors, the range of premium wall paints available in tonalities which are coherent with the decorations collection, both in terms of style and sensitivity. Nuances are skilfully combined with patterns and relaunch their effect of elegance and tactility.
WET SYSTEM AND OUT SYSTEM 2019
The leitmotif of the new #wetsystem2019 collection - a patented technical coating by Wall&decò for waterproofing and decorating shower walls and humid interiors - is the search for unprecedented tonalities in perfect harmony, which converge as a coherent and balanced whole.
Now, the wallpaper for bathroom interiors is immersed in constant light which culminates in a non- light, an anti-matter consisting of air. It permeates objects and interiors, rendering them colourless, on the grey scale. Resulting tonalities are nothing more than the mirror of the surrounding environment, or symbolising detachment and self-protection, in a skilfully dosed colour balance and an effort to generate calm and meditative interiors.
The palette of colours is filtered through an alternation of profoundly material and consistent textures, cross-contaminated and transformed into a new concept of rainbow. Colour combinations are exclusive: powdery purples and dark red enter interiors and denote them, despite being enriched by a translucent effect which limits them, enables their perfect harmony and prevents them from becoming overbearing.
The new #wetsystem2019 collection features alongside the #outsystem2019 collection, enriched by five new graphics with material effects, evoking braided fabrics or recounting geometric and architectonic patterns.
Textures embrace an illusory connotation, despite perfectly integrating with the surrounding environment.
WET SYSTEM, patented at international level, is a real system made of different components (primer, specific glue, technical printed fabric and protective finishes) that successfully meets its main purpose, a high decorative value, as well as boasting a wide range of technical properties - resistance to water, dampness, yellowing, abrasion and harsh house cleaning products.
OUT SYSTEM is the covering for facades that combines new decorative options to important structural features that strengthen the wall surface on which it is applied, conferring resistance against knocks, tears, abrasions, rain and UV rays.
