Mercedes-Benz Cars at Auto Guangzhou - World premiere: new SUV from Maybach luxury brand

Mercedes-Benz is presenting numerous new products at #auto Guangzhou 2019. One particular highlight: the new #suv from the Mercedes-Maybach luxury brand is celebrating its world premiere on the eve of the show. In addition to this, the inventor of the automobile is presenting the Mercedes-Benz GLB and GLS SUVs as well as the Mercedes-AMG A 35 L 4MATIC to accompany their market launch in China. The VISION EQS concept has its China premiere at #auto Guangzhou. Further products on display at the stand include the new model from the DENZA electric brand established by Daimler and BYD.

New luxury-class SUV

Mercedes-Maybach first unveiled its S-Class in Guangzhou five years ago. The luxury brand is now taking its next step with the world premiere of its new #suv at the same location. State-of-the-art technology, exceptional comfort and the Maybach design philosophy make the vehicle a hallmark Maybach luxury experience. DENZA X – electric mobility of the present

The DENZA X, the new model from the DENZA electric brand, is celebrating its market debut in Guangzhou. The brand was established jointly by Daimler and BYD, the leading Chinese manufacturer of battery-electric vehicles. Designed by the China Advance Design Center, the DENZA X combines the resources and specialist knowledge of both companies. Both the plug-in-hybrid variant and the battery-electric vehicle are available exclusively on the Chinese market.

Performance from Mercedes-AMG – exclusively for the Chinese market

The Mercedes-AMG A 35 L 4MATIC is likewise newly and exclusively available on the Chinese market. This new entry-level model affording access to the world of Driving Performance combines the brand's hallmark sportiness with impressive spaciousness. The A 35 L 4MATIC celebrated its world premiere six months ago at #auto Shanghai. Thanks to the six-centimetre longer wheelbase, passengers in the rear enjoy a particularly high level of spatial comfort. The model is based on the new Mercedes compact-vehicle platform and is powered by a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine with an output of 225 kW (306 hp). The compact saloon sees Mercedes-AMG further expanding its portfolio in the compact segment and responding to rising demand.
