Nissan Navara and NV400 are shortlisted at the International Commercial Vehicle Awards 2020


  • Following its win in 2016, the Nissan Navara has been shortlisted for the International Pick-Up of the Year award with the NV400 shortlisted for Van of The Year
  • Launched in July this year, the new Navara combines 80 years of Nissan pick-up know-how with the latest in-car technology to create tougher, smarter and more fuel-efficient pick-up 
  • The NV400 is a versatile model for Nissan, with a variety of body types available that combine performance and lower fuel consumption through its efficient engines, offering one of the widest ranges in the LCV market

PARIS, France – Shortlisted for two significant awards, Nissan awaits the winning announcement of the International Commercial Vehicle Awards' International Pick-Up Award and International Van of the Year titles.

The Nissan Navara will be competing with the likes of the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and Renault Alaskan to fight for its second victory in the pick-up category, following its previous win in 2016. This year, Nissan's focus has been on creating the most connected Navara yet, offering innovative Nissan Connected Services on board, including access to the advanced NissanConnect infotainment system.

Alongside its newly enhanced connectivity, the Navara exhibited its industry-leading pan-European 5 year / 160,000km warranty and engine efficiency, all leading to the model clinching its position in the finals.

Looking to the Van of the Year category, Nissan's large van NV400 has been shortlisted alongside the Fiat Ducato, Iveco Daily and Volkswagen Transporter T6.1. The NV400 is Nissan's Large-Sized Van which offers a versatile and wide choice of body types with efficient engines offering more performanceand lower fuel consumption, industry-leading safety equipment and greater comfort thanks to a totally redesigned cabin.

The NV400 has a wide choice of wheelbase, length and height, payload, engines, Front or Rear Wheel Drive plus body conversions, providing all the possibilities the customer would need to create their perfect match.

The finalists will be judged by veteran automotive journalists, who will assess the contenders over a three-day group test hosted in Sweden. The assessment will analyse towing capability, terrain handling and value for money among other features that showcase the segment.
