Mexico Grand Prix – Seb second, Charles fourth
Sebastian Vettel finished the Mexican Grand Prix, which has just ended at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in second place, with his team-mate #charlesleclerc fourth.
Race. After he led the opening laps, the team opted for a two stop strategy for Charles. At his second stop he took on Hard tyres and then caught Valtteri Bottas in the closing stages but couldn’t get close enough for a passing move. Sebastian drove a really strong race in which he stayed out on track for over half distance before switching to the Hard tyres and setting off in pursuit of Lewis Hamilton., who had made an earlier stop for the same compound. The German caught the English Mercedes drivers in the final part of the race but was never able to close him down and had to settle for second place.
