Venice Factory - The Venice Glass Week 2019

Venice Factory presents at #theveniceglassweek2019 the collection #strambotti /Figures in a Garden. The #event takes for a walk bizarre, fascinating and mysterious forms in a suggested 'Italian garden'. #strambotti, are characters, animals and flowers in different sizes, sometimes with a functional nature, sometimes mere objects of charm. Made with the finest glass workmanship tradition: in opaque or transparent glass, ‘reticello’, with bubbles, overlay, with rods, enriched with ‘morise’ and painted enamel. The collection is once again the result of the delightful encounter between the designer Eliana Gerotto and the master glassmaker Gianni Seguso. Together they were able to bring out the character of these figures, like the pompous Monsieur Pigeon, in a round blown glass, and his dog Fifì, in colored glass slabs. STAMBOTTI will be premiered at the #theveniceglassweek2019 and displayed at the charming ‘secret garden’ of the Fujiyama Tea Room in Calle lunga San Barnaba, Dorsoduro 2727/b.
