Turkish Puccetti #racing is Stateside this weekend, taking part in round nine of the Superbike world championship at the Weather Tech Raceway of #lagunaseca in #california, U.S.A.
Toprak Razgatlioglu takes on this American round with the aim of extending his recent run of positive results, having scored four podium finishes over the last three rounds.
This morning, the young Turkish rider took part in the first free practice session and immediately found good feeling with his Kawasaki #zx10rr and the very tricky and technical Californian track. With a time of 1'24"187, he finished in third place.
In the afternoon's second practice session, Toprak stopped the clock on 1'23"942, improving on his earlier time by a few tenths and closing in seventh place in the day's combined standings.
Tomorrow will see Razgatlioglu take part in the third and final free practice followied by the Superpole, which establishes grid positions for the weekend's first race, which will play out in the afternoon over a distance of 25 laps.
