June 10, 2019 - An all-over denim version of the #nike Air Monarch IV coincides with the 100th anniversary of the host course for golf's third major. Splashed across the heel is an embroidered flower pattern, and a vibrant flower pattern covers the sockliner. Both draw from the flora along the course’s Central California coastline.
Using denim as a rebellious play on traditional dress codes at golf links, the shoe includes a tongue tag modeling the leather patch found on the backs of most jeans. Hints of red dot the upper and carry through the heel, eyelets and heel tab, and round out in a leather-toned gum sole.
