MV Agusta Reparto Corse – De Rosa is sixth in Superpole at Imola
The #imola round, the fifth on the Supersport world championship calendar, is the first of two home events for the MV Agusta Reparto Corse team. In yesterday's two free practice sessions #raffaelederosa (1'52"309) closed in eighth place, while #federicofuligni (1'53"346) obtained tenth. This morning, in cloudy conditions, both riders took part in the third and final free practice. De Rosa (1'52"023) improved on his best of yesterday and moved up to fifth place. Fuligni also improved slightly (1'53"151), finishing thirteenth.
In the afternoon's Superpole, De Rosa (1'51"444) dropped his time and scored a sixth-place finish. Fuligni closed in seventeenth place having improved marginally on his earlier time (1'53"055).
Tomorrow De Rosa will start from the second row and Fuligni from the sixth in a race that will take place over 17 laps and is likely to run in wet conditions.
