The new V-Class – the successful model just got even more attractive
Five years ago, the #MercedesBenz V-Class set standards in the #mpv segment with its design, value appeal, comfort as well as safety and assistance systems. The facelift builds upon these core values and thus enhances the attractiveness of the biggest member of the Stuttgart-based passenger car family. The compact Marco Polo and Marco Polo HORIZON camper and leisure vans also benefit from the innovations implemented in the V-Class. What's more, #MercedesBenz Vans is taking the next step in this segment and will be offering a fully-electric #mpv in the near future.
Design and comfort
- New presence and an impression of breadth thanks to newly designed bumper with striking cooling air intake and diamond structure of the radiator grille
- Available as an option, the AMG Line features a new diamond radiator grille with chrome pins for a yet more sporty appearance
- A choice of four new paint colours as well as four new light-alloy wheel designs
- Interior with new trim element in twin-stripe look, newly designed air vents in a sporty turbine look and the new "tartufo" leather colour
- Optional luxury seats in the rear increase the total number of seat options in the #mpv and pamper passangers with reclining and back massage functions as well as air conditioning
Driving dynamics and efficiency
- The four-cylinder OM 654 diesel in three output variants with reduced emission and consumption values and further improved noise and vibration characteristics is being used for the first time in the V-Class
- New power variant V 300 d with 176 kW (239 hp) and 500 Nm of torque sets the benchmark in the #mpv segment (combined fuel consumption 6.1-5.9 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions 161-155 g/km)1. In the acceleration phase, the V 300 d can deliver an additional 30 Nm of torque for a short time ("overtorque")
