Pietranova, a stone with low environmental impact
Pietranova is a cement agglomerate composed of Vicenza Stone grit, obtained from processing waste recycle from #grassipietre quarries, white Portland cement and water.
The technology, the constant research in stone materials area and the special attention to the environment by #grassipietre create this low environmental impact material, this is due both to waste recycle and to the complete absence of polluting materials (chemical substances or epoxy resins).
The ecological soul of Pietranova combines a high aesthetical yield and a physical-chemical resistance that makes it strong and compact. Designed to meet the demands of contemporary architecture, Pietranova is used for interior and exterior cladding, staircases and flooring, being easy to install since it is consistent, uniform, rectified and, as a single-layer product, it can be re- polished on site. It is also used to create #design elements and complements.
Available in white, yellow and gray depending on the selected natural stone used in the mixture, Pietranova has 4 different finishes: honed, brushed, bush-hammered and striated. It is also possible to create customized finishes, designed in collaboration with the designers, to obtain particular aesthetic yields.
