Moto GP - Kawasaki: Turkish Puccetti Racing – Razgatlioglu ninth in both WSBK races at Buriram

The second round of the Superbike world championship concluded today at the #changinternationalcircuit in Buriram, Thailand, in hot and sunny conditions.

During the morning warm-up, Turkish Puccetti #racing rider #toprakrazgatlioglu worked with his team to refine the set up of his Ninja ZX-10R and prepare for the subsequent Tissot Superpole Race, which runs over a distance of ten laps.

Toprak made a great start as the lights went out and was up in eighth position. On the subsequent laps, he found himself part of a group fighting for seventh, but the race came to an early conclusion when the red flag came out on lap eight, following a crash for another rider. Razgatlioglu therefore finished ninth in that race.

In race 2, which got underway at 4pm local time, the young Turkish rider didn't start as well as in the previous race, but in the space of just a few laps, he was up to eighth place. As the race went on, he began to slide particularly due to the heat and track temperature, which exceeded 57°C. Despite this, Toprak gritted his teeth and was able to finish in ninth place.

The next round of the Superbike world championship is set to take place over the weekend of 5-7 April at Motorland Aragon near Alcaniz, in Spain.
