INTERFLORA WORLD CUP 2019 - Australia Won and Italy enters the TOP TEN

The Interflora World Cup 2019 competition has just ended in #philadelphia, with the participation of #vincenzoantonuccio as the representative of Italy.

Australia wins, Russia second and Hungary third. Italy is positioned eighth and enters for the first time in history in the TOP 10.

The history of the World Cup, the most prestigious competition on the planet in the floral art where the greatest Floral Designer are challenged, begins in 1972 and in 14 editions Italy has never entered the TOP 10 (the top ten countries in the world that dictate the trend in Floral Design).

In 2019 in #philadelphia begins the turning point, Italy is there and the teachers #vincenzoantonuccio and #marilenacalbini enter the TOP 10, bringing for the first time Italy in eighth place in the general classification. It is the first great milestone that marks a new era for Italy.

Interflora World Cup (www.ftdworldcup2019.com) is the most prestigious #event in the world for the floral industry. It is a #design competition that showcases the most talented floral designers from around the world. It takes place every four years and each time it’s hosted in a different location.

CURRICULUM #vincenzoantonuccio - (Milazzo 4/2/1976)
After obtaining his Diploma in Architecture and Furniture at the Artistic High School of Milazzo in 1994, he began his professional development in the sector, following the courses of the School of Floral Art, Laboratorio Idee.

In 1998 he pursued his career as an International Floral Designer in Basel at the Atelier5 School of the renowned Swiss master Peter Hess, (recognised as one of the most structured educational courses in Floral Art present in the world today) obtaining the Diploma in 2002.

Since 2001 he has been part of the teaching staff of the School Laboratorio Idee and from 2002 he began to hold courses, workshops and demonstrations of an international character in many Italian and foreign companies spreading his creative flair. From 2008 to 2013 he was called to take on the prestigious role of Art Director and Designer of the renowned company "VG newtrend", a world leader in the #design and supplier of luxury furnishings and complementaries, where he designed and produced, with great success, collections and furnishings that were exhibited in the most important locations and fairs in the world.
From 2010 he has been one of the team of 8 qualified teachers teaching the prestigious International Floral Designer course, which holds its courses in 14 branches of the School located in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Beijing, Minsk, Singapore, Lyon, Basel, Rome, Milan, St. Petersburg, Barcelona and Mexico City. From 2014 he has been the designer of "Brummel Interiors", a company operating in the high-end range of luxury kitchens and furnishings, taking care of the both the company’s image and profile as well contributing to it’s product #design.

From 2015 he joined the designers of Visionnaire, known as the prestigious furniture company of the Cavalli family specializing in the art of glamorous luxury.


Since 2016 he is the Artistic Director for the Brand Luxia by Bocchio.
This strong mix between the world of Floral Art and Furniture renders his creative line both exclusive and cosmopolitan.
