The landscape design by Paghera defines the planning intervention for the outdoor of Casa Fantini
Style, botanical knowledge and a remarkable planning expertise are the peculiarities through which Paghera conveys uniqueness to all its creations.
A wonderful boutique #hotel on the Lake Orta, built as far as your eyes can see among the reflections of water. The small garden was created by #paghera fully respecting its structure with an extremely geometrical and present-day style and bringing a huge relief to the wonderful view on the lake. A small and elegant #hotel (9 rooms and 2 suites), Casa Fantini, which is located exactly next to the house of the businesswoman Daniela Fantini, managing director of the homonymous brand. A person who is deeply tied-up to the Lake Orta and to the ancient hamlet of Pella, where she was born and grew up.
The structure of the #hotel, whose plan is by the Architect Piero Lissoni, has an extremely modern style for the materials and the #design clashing with the surrounding environment which is, on the contrary, very natural indeed.
The garden has the task to act as a bridge between these two realities, to insert the #hotel into the landscape reducing the visual impact.
Therefore, walls are made lighter by means of shrubs which cover them partially, creating a space for relax near the small rectangular swimming-pool.
In front of the building, paved pathways are traced out by flower-beds with low bush
es, ready to host colours of Springtime blossoming. Then, the space opens onto a meadow which runs till the view on the lake.
Here the most important shrubs and the tall trees make this area be private, protecting it from curious eyes.
The varieties of trees and flowers existing here have been selected with the utmost attention, as usual; a wonderful mix of colours which lasts all over the year.
