Motor Bike Expo Givi innovations: A glimpse of the future

At the #motorbikeexpo #givi once again hosts an area dedicated to innovation within its stand. A way of sharing technical choices in research with visitors by presenting prototypes, materials, applications and new families of products…

The area is made up of 5 showcases, complete with information about their contents, and will be supervised by a #givi technician who will be at the stand to provide additional technical support to those visitors who want to learn more.

The objects in the foreground have different purposes, as they seek to focus attention on little known aspects, from the recyclable nature of certain materials, to applications via the use of smartphones, the conception of a new family of accessories and much more. Let’s look at the details.

GIVI INNOVATIONS

CONCEPT- A possible alternative to the classic look of the top-case as we know it. #givi seizes every new perspective, to demonstrate with this prototype (aspiring to become the new Maxia 5) that they can go beyond what has been offered up until now.

APP – an application in progress, available for IOS and Android, which allows you to open and close the top case, without using a key, simply by keeping your smartphone in your pocket.

MATERIALS – focus on the quality of the materials used by #givi in manufacturing. In the showcase there are the sections of a case in aluminium and one in techno-polymers (recyclable… but not recycled) + a space that shows the public the raw material.

NEW FAMILIES OF ACCESSORIES – two examples of products coming soon to the market that skilfully unite practicality and looks. The M9 plate and the new “SLIDER”. The latter is the cornerstone of a new range of accessories dedicated to sports and fast #naked bikes. It can be recognised by its aerodynamic shape and inserts in anodised aluminium in 4 different colours with laser engraving.

THE PASSWORD IS “UNIVERSAL” – GIVI alternates work on fittings dedicated to single models with research on accessories that can adapt to different solutions to help the user. This is the case of “PL One Fit”, which will make it possible to install different cases on your bike using a single fitting system, including all the brand’s older models as well as current and future ones. This “PL” marks improvements in terms of efficiency, strength and lifespan.
