Vertex Pistons & Power at EICMA 2018
VERTEX PISTONS&POWER – BATTERY LINE
The #vertex product range for road, off-road and #scooter motorcycles has expanded with a line of advanced technological content batteries made with highly dispersed Nano Gel electrolytes and higher discharging capability Pb-Ca Tin alloy grid structure.
Enclosed in a resistant ABS cover and sealed with Cos and TTP technology, #vertex batteries have a low self-discharge ratio with 1-year shelf life, a cycle life of 15% longer than a traditional battery, a wide operation temperature range (-30°C/+60°C), a better recharge capacity and an excellent vibration resistant capability, that makes them safe and reliable.
Alongside the Nano Gel line, a second line of acid batteries, which #vertex Pistons&Power has designed to offer an interesting quality/price offer, will be added soon.
Vertex Pistons&Power batteries can be purchased from authorized VP ITALY dealers from € 28 excluding VAT.
VERTEX PISTONS – 2019 ROAD PISTONS LINE
Developed in the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships in collaboration with the Marinelli Team and the SIC58 Team, as well as in the Superbike and Supersport GPs, the #vertex Pistons line dedicated to road bikes has expanded with versions destined for the 2019 bikes models.
The #vertex Pistons kits for the exclusive use of the track are complete of rings, piston pins and circlips, and offered in Replica or High Compression versions characterized by a minimum limit weight for their category and an increased compression ratio that significantly increases engine performance without any loss of reliability, and are available for 600, 1000 and 1200 cc Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW and Ducati.
VERTEX PISTONS – 2019 PISTON OFF-ROAD LINE
Vertex Pistons play a leading role even in the 2018 off-road season. Kiara Fontanesi’s world win in WMX and five titles won in the #enduro world championship with Eero Remes (E1), Steve Holcombe (Enduro GP and E3), Ruy Barbosa (EY) and Andrea Verona (EJ1), in addition to the results of the official teams in MXGP and MX2, including the Kawasaki Racing Team, the Honda HRC, the Yamaha Monster Energy, the Yamaha Kemea, the Yamaha Wilvo and the TM Racing, once again confirm #vertex pistons as crucial for champions engine preparation.
Taking advantage of the huge amount of information obtained alongside these teams, #vertex Pistons has expanded its range of hi-tech pistons dedicated to 4 strokes off-road motorcycles available in the Replica, High Compression, Big Bore and GP-Racer's Choice versions for 2019 bikes.
The Replica model is the ideal replacement for the original piston and is characterized by an excellent quality/price ratio and made with forged aluminum body, racing profile, anti-seize MoS2 coating and original segment kit.
The High Compression model is produced with specific dedicated forged and has the shape of the top completely revised by the R&D engineers with an increase in the compression ratio that improves power and torque.
The Big Bore model, on the other hand, has a conformation similar to the standard one, but has a larger diameter with a relative increase in the displacement which leads to a considerable improvement in performance.
The GP-Racer's Choice model is at the top of the #vertex Pistons production as hot forged with high resistance VP-310 alloy and equipped with the T-Bridge exclusive machined inspired by F1, DLC coated pin, segments in chromed or nitrated steel depending on the application and a special shape of the head that allows the maximum compression ratio with a great performance without any loss of reliability. GP-Racers Choice range is available for Honda CRF 250/450, Kawasaki KX250/450F, Yamaha YZ250/450F, Suzuki RM-Z 250/450, KTM SXF250/350/450 and Husqvarna FC 250/350/450.
