Renaissance is the new pop

Sans Tabù Collections are conceived and produced in Italy, reinterpreting a historical and artistic heritage that is unmatched in the world in terms of variety and imagination.

The new RENAISSANCE collection confirms this attitude - and the place of origin of the brand: Le Marche. #sanstabu walks through the rooms of the Ducal Palace of Urbino, in which the Lord Federico da Montefeltro, patron and humanist, poured his love for the arts, and “steals” the gracefulness of the Renaissance friezes.

The key word of the new collection is precisely “Renaissance”. #sanstabu incorporates the bas-reliefs of the palace, depicting a nature populated a mythological flora and fauna and makes it live again with a pop and irreverent spirit in collages and by a mixture of bold colors.

The collages give life to cushions and quilts in fabrics that are, as usual, sought after and of superb quality: very light and enveloping cotton velvet, linen and silk twill.

For the table, the RENAISSANCE theme is developed with tablecloths, runners and American sets on linen. For the first time the Bath collection is introduced, using an innovative wood fiber made in Italy, a sort of “cool cashmere” characterized by a very high degree of absorption and very quick drying. Bordered by RENAISSANCE motifs printed on cotton velvet, this innovative material creates surprising sensations.

Genderless inspiration for the brand’s second new theme: the “comics” blankets and pillows ARE YOU SANS TABÙ?, expertly woven on jacquard looms in the finest and softest of merinos. The two-tone shocking stripes motif is edged with a bright contrasting velvet, inspired by the grandmother’s blankets, but with a decidedly POP effect!
