Travelling home for Thanksgiving and Diwali? Emirates makes your journey easier

Dubai, UAE: 14th October 2018: Emirates is offering UAE residents a chance to travel back home and celebrate Thanksgiving and Diwali with friends and family. Passengers travelling in Economy and Business Class can book starting today until 28th October 2018, for travel until 30 April 2019.

U.S. Thanksgiving

Customers travelling to North America can enjoy Economy Class fares to New York starting at AED 4,685, Los Angeles starting at AED 5,785, Chicago starting at AED 5,215 and Dallas starting at AED 5,385.

Business Class passengers can enjoy fares to New York starting at AED 20,155, Los Angeles starting at AED 25,775, to Chicago starting at AED 21,775, and to Dallas starting at AED 21,745.

From 22nd to 25th November, #emirates will be offering passengers specially tailored menus to celebrate the holiday. Customers travelling in all classes can enjoy a delicious roasted turkey prepared by award winning chefs.

First and Business Class passengers can also enjoy pumpkin flavored cupcakes topped with marzipan served on-board the A380 lounge. Customers can choose from two appetisers including: delicious smoked duck salad, served with poached fig, pickled beetroot, green beans and hazelnuts; or a creamy cauliflower soup with turkey rashers and spring onions; and for dessert, a mouthwatering pumpkin tart with whipped cream, caramel fudge and pistachios.

The Thanksgiving menu will be available for customers on all US flights from Dubai. Economy Class passengers flying back to Dubai from the US can indulge in a tasty, roasted turkey served with cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted pumpkin in maple syrup. First and Business Class passengers flying back to Dubai can also enjoy smoked ocean trout with cocktail onions and caper berries; or creamy pumpkin soup with toasted pumpkin seeds and chives.

Diwali

Passengers travelling to India to reunite with relatives for Diwali can also enjoy competitive fares on Economy Class to Mumbai starting at AED 1,205, Delhi starting at AED 1,265, Hyderabad starting at 1,105, and Ahmedabad starting at AED 1,165.

Business Class passengers can enjoy fares to Mumbai starting at AED 3,605, Delhi starting at AED 3,705, Hyderabad starting at AED 3,395, and Ahmedabad starting at AED 4,775.

Emirates will be offering passengers onboard special Diwali delicacies from 7 November to 10 November 2018. The special treats will be available for customers in all classes on all flights to India from Dubai.

Customers travelling in all classes can enjoy Motichoor Ladoos on all Indian hot tray meals. The celebratory delicacy is a small flour balls deep fried in ghee and simmered in cardamom and saffron flavored sugar syrup, decorated with silver leaf and pistachio.

Business and First Class passengers can also enjoy Anjeer Chakkar- a sugar-free sweet, loaded with cashew nuts, almonds raisins, pistachio, walnut, and dried figs presented in a circular form.

Emirates passengers travelling in all classes will benefit from a generous baggage allowance of up to 30kg in Economy Class and 40kg in Business Class. Passengers on the #emirates flight will enjoy the airline’s award winning in-flight entertainment system with up to 3,500 channels and up to 20MB complimentary on-board Wi-Fi, as well as regionally inspired meals on-board prepared by award-winning chefs.
