ABT Sportsline 2018: ABT aerodynamic package gives Audi A8 a distinctively sporty visual upgrade
From the end of November, ABT Sportsline will be offering an extensive aerodynamic package for the #Audi #A8 to give the luxury sedan a more distinctive and sporty look. In the spring, ABT Sportsline already presented an ABT Power boost for the 3.0 TDI in the #Audi #A8. Thanks to the ABT Engine Control (AEC) module developed in-house, the performance grows from 286 HP (210 kW) and 600 Nm to 330 HP (243 kW) and 650 Nm.
The ABT aerodynamic package for the #Audi #A8 consists of several high-quality add-on parts. While the ABT front spoiler sharpens the existing lines, the ABT rear skirt captivates with a restrained diffuser look that underlines the design language. In addition to the aerodynamic package, which is sold for 2,252.10 € (VAT excluded), the subtle
ABT rear spoiler made of carbon fiber for 1,168.07 € (VAT excluded), gives the #Audi #A8 that certain sporty extra.
Details in the interior, such as the well-known ABT shift knob cover and the start-stop-switch-cap, highlight the increased performance of the #Audi #A8. In addition to this, a large range of rims and complete wheels from 20 to 22 inch sizes are available from the
ABT Sportsline portfolio. Beside the DR, ER-C and FR models, the ABT SPORT GR 22-inch alloy wheels with matt black paint and diamond-machined surface are also available for the #Audi #A8. The striking look and the excellent true-running properties perfectly complement the other visual changes from the ABT aerodynamic package.
It is not only the visual upgrade of the #Audi #A8 that is impressive. ABT Sportsline also makes no compromises when it comes to safety. Extensive safety measures ensure that the engine operates in the safe range. When using the ABT Engine Control, all factory safety functions of the engine are retained and the AEC continuously communicates with the original engine control unit. This means that customers using the power boost do not have to take any risks to enjoy the added fun.
