In the occasion of the autumn edition of Maison&Objet, #vitonesta presents the new collections of Grand Tour dishes, a personal project and tale of a journey of a lifetime, sometimes real and sometimes imaginary.
Cairo, Lebanon, Kenya carry on the path begun with Las Palmas, Natsumi, Wagasa, Anatomica, in a continuous search fot the beauty, drawing inspiration by the itineraries of the Renaissance.
Cairo tells about ancient Egyptian women women immersed in thoughtful looks, dressed in jewels and headdresses that illustrate a world far away in time and space. The sensual and exotic faces printed in black and white on the surface of the dish become protagonists in contrast with the colorful patterns of fruit and flowers that surround them.
In this composition cold and warm tones contrast and balance each other creating a melodious dialogue between human and natural beauty.
Glazed edges with contrasting colors frame up pictures of the Near East: Lebanon is the series of dishes that unveils landscapes of the past inhabit by men and animals, by nature and architecture.
The combination and overlap of architectures creates decorative patterns that stand out against the dark background of the edge of the dish.
Kenya is a journey through smells, colors and stories of the African warrior populations. Scenes of everyday life of men, women and children are depicted on the whole plate without borders or frames. The only decorative element is given by the repetition of small geometric shapes in different colors that emerge from the composition.
The theme of the trip becomes suggestion and natural condition in the work of #vitonesta as in the collections presented. The continuous and incessant search for symbols and distant stories that open up to unknown and exotic worlds distant but at the same time close to tradition and everyday life.
