Tech-Air™ ready: MANAGUA GTX Tech-Air™ and DURBAN GTX Tech-Air™ Jackets & Street-Airbag from Alpinestars

The all set and perfectly equipped #managuagtx Tech-Air™ and #durbangtx Tech-Air™ jackets are premium Gore-Tex® jackets providing the rider with all of the necessary comfort and safety features of the highest standard. Both jackets are made from a high-quality combination of materials featuring reflective details and reinforced by CE-certified protectors on the shoulders and elbows, resulting in low weight, durability and optimal protection. 

The #managuagtx Tech-Air™ jacket is 100% street oriented. The fully laminated and lightweight GORE-TEX® outer material is padded with a removable thermal lining. An innovative ventilation system guarantees perfect comfort under all conditions. In addition to being perfect for the street, the #durbangtx Tech-Air™ jacket is equally well-suited to light offroad use and adventure touring. It features an ultra-lightweight removable Gore-Tex® membrane with micro-fleece lining. Zippered air intakes and exhausts sealed against all the wind and rain nature can throw at them, as well as storage space for a two-liter bladder hydration system, cater for perfect comfort while riding.

Both jackets are compatible with Alpinestars’ innovative Tech-Air™ street airbag system, which can be easily attached and removed from the jackets thanks to a standard zipper. The system can be purchased together with the jackets for an additional charge. 

The Alpinestars Tech-Air™ airbag is the world’s first self-contained airbag system, covering the back, chest, shoulders, and kidneys. No cables or wires need attaching to the bike to make use of this system. Its sensors typically detect an impact between 30-60 milliseconds and fully inflate the airbag in under 25 milliseconds, thanks to cutting-edge electronics and complex algorithms.
