DCC hosts Henge 2018 collection in New York for the NYCxDesign

HENGE presents the new collection during the #nycxdesign, the main international trade exhibition in the United States dedicated to furniture and #interiordesign. The location for the presentation is the renowned #ddc showroom, which represents the brand in #newyork, and is located in Madison Avenue, in the heart of the #design week district.

DDC represents the perfect expression of HENGE’s style, which finds the manifesto of its essence in the utmost craftsmanship, sophisticated #design and complete customization. For over 25 years, the exclusive 20,000 sq. m. showroom has been promoting Italian contemporary #design through a careful curatorial research and selection of the displayed pieces.

HENGE’s special setting features a spacious area, highlighting the freedom of #design and composition ensured by the creations of the brand. An exclusive lifestyle that recoils from the impeccability of serial industrial productions and is oriented towards the uniqueness of materials and shapes.

In the dining area, the Savannah chairs, designed by the Irish architect Stephen Tierney, in black walnut wood with leather seat, are arranged around the Oxymoron Table. Characterized by its organic form, the top of this table is a wooden micro-mosaic Forest Fusion, hand-made, and the legs are in antique sandcasted bronze inserted in the top, above which are placed the new Starlight lamps, luminous architectures formed by “Y” shaped arms in the two finishes burnished brass black and bronze sandcasting, a horizontal composition.

The dining area is completed by the Side X Evo High Sideboard, in the Silver Patina finish, black burnished iron legs, Cappuccino stone top and the interior in precious black eucalyptus.

The main novelty of the living area is the Lailand sofa, in Nubuck leather Moss with the leather backrest and cushions in the new Axum fabric, flanked by the Twistable console in black burnished brass and sandcasted bronze base. The new collection of upholstered furniture also includes the Jelly pouf in the new fabric variants and with the leather backs and the Voyage armchair presented with Nabuck 28 and E-type dark brown leather upholstery. To complete the living area, the new Primitive coffee tables with burnished titanium structure and Ostuni stone tops and the Octagon coffee tables in the new version with the Black Lake stone top.

The exclusive coffee tables, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, are presented in the new Silver sandcasted finish through the artisan technique of casting on the ground.

Additional important novelty is the H-Silk rugs collection in new color palettes and the Phantom lights in the table version with black burnished steel lampshade and transparent base.
