CEDIT presents the exhibition-installation “AMBIENTI” at the Venetian Festival DESIGN.VE

As part of the Venetian Festival #design.VE, five ceramics collections designed by Formafantasma, Giorgio Griffa, Franco Guerzoni, Zanellato/Bortotto and Zaven reinterpret the meaning of inhabiting a space in an innovative exhibition setting.

Within the setting of Campo Santo Stefano, in the heart of Venice, CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia presents the Exhibition-Installation “AMBIENTI”,which reinterprets the meaning of inhabiting a space through the medium of large ceramic slabs designed by Formafantasma, Giorgio Griffa, Franco Guerzoni, Zanellato/Bortotto and Zaven.

The five designer collections presented here, designed exclusively for #cedit, define and characterize each room as a place where the ceramic element, with its own poetic expressivity, its decorative value and presence, becomes the main attraction.

By means of this installation, #cedit reaffirms some of its founding values: history, craftsmanship, art and innovation. These values, tied together by the “fil rouge” of #design and actualization capabilities- a distinctive trait of Italian creativity- give new meaning to the idea of inhabiting a space, meant as the ability to create a correlation between man and the architectural space he lives in.

The exhibition-installation – open to the public during the Biennale Architettura 2018 – is organized by Florim within the context of the #design Festival DESIGN.VE. Florim chose to propose a project based on its own CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia brand, as it believes that the path of research and experimentation of this brand, associated to the prestige of the designers and artist involved, perfectly fits into the scenario   outlined by the 16th #mostra Internazionale di Architettura.
