Dial S for sport

At a racecourse just outside Palma de Majorca, photographers scramble round the red, white and black car which sits low on the ground, illuminated in a dazzling light. Journalists struggle to see inside through the tinted windows, as some of them actually get down on their hands and knees for a glimpse behind the bodywork.

François-Xavier Demaison is standing off to the side with his arms crossed, a look of slight embarrassment on his face as he takes in the scene. Just a few moments before, he and #Volkswagen Motorsport Director Sven Smeets had unveiled the #pologtir5 – it's the world premiere of Volkswagen's new #Rally sports car.
