The Peugeot 208 WRX out to celebrate rallycross jubilee in style

Round five of the 2017 FIA World Rallycross Championship takes Team Peugeot Hansen to Lydden Hill, Kent, England, where the sports very first meeting was held 50 years ago. Sébastien Loeb and Timmy Hansen will be keen to extend the team’s run of three straight podium finishes to add to the anniversary festivities.

Kenneth Hansen (Team Principal)
“I have lots of personal memories of Lydden Hill. As a driver, I have had some great times there, and some that were not so great! I think it should suit our chassis and I am curious to see how we compare with our opponents. The weather could well upset everybody’s plans but we have prepared thoroughly and we hope to claim the win we came so close to collecting in Belgium.”

Sébastien Loeb (driver, PEUGEOT #208 #wrx #9)
“Lydden Hill is a circuit I enjoy. It is quite fast with some big drifts through the first turn on the loose. You exit it at speed but you then need to brake heavily right after it. It’s a great place to race and I hope I succeed in bouncing back after my frustrating weekend in Belgium.”
