Accessory highlights for the Golf family
Volkswagen Accessories has expanded the options for the #golf family, adding high-quality, handy transport solutions for sports equipment and bicycles. Smart systems that improve comfort and keep passengers both young and old well entertained while travelling are also available.
For adventurers: get your equipment there safely
When making a break for the hills in your Golf Alltrack to pit yourself against the terrain on a mountain bike, take advantage of the new bicycle carrier for the vehicle roof. The frame holder and wheel rail have been designed to automatically keep the bicycle correctly positioned and securely fixed in place by means of wheel holders with diagonal rim retaining straps and a quick-release fastener. The frame holder has large soft pads for even pressure distribution and to protect the bicycle frame. The bicycle can also be locked to the bicycle carrier, which has been City Crash Plus tested, while the carrier itself can be locked to the #golf Alltrack's supporting rods (with roof rails).
Golf Alltrack drivers with a passion for watersports can transport their surfboard with ease with the relevant carriers from #volkswagen Accessories: the surfboard carrier gets the board, two-piece mast and sail safely to their destination. The rubber-coated surfboard carrier and a special rubber protector for the metal clamps on the tensioning straps provide extra protection during transport. The supporting rods form the base unit for all #volkswagen Accessories roof systems for the #golf Alltrack.
By the way: Offroad enthusiasts should also plump for all-weather floor mats, mud flaps and a cargo area loadliner so that as much as possible of the dirt stays where it belongs – outside the #golf.
For comfort and entertainment on longer journeys
Volkswagen Accessories is offering a new modular travel and comfort system for more entertainment and improved convenience on longer trips. It keeps important items, such as tablets, within reach at all times, for ease of use by passengers seated in the rear. The practical and flexible base unit is secured between the head restraint struts. Numerous modules can be quickly and easily attached as needed. An Apple iPad holder and tablet holders for the Apple iPad Air, Apple iPad mini and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3/4 10.1 are available for viewing films or playing digital games. Further system modules include a bag hook, clothes hanger and folding table.
Other useful accessories when travelling to your holiday destination in the #golf Estate in particular include child seats with matching seat covers, a reversible mat for the luggage compartment, a roof box, sunblinds and a mesh partition.
For GTI* enthusiasts
Sportiness, power and presence – those who opt for the #golf GTI love its high-powered personality. #volkswagen Accessories underpins this with products that showcase the three magical letters – GTI. These include textile and all-weather floor mats with GTI lettering, a GTI child seat and the GTI Lifestyle Collection. Further design accents are set with the chrome rear strip and loading sill protection strip with a stainless steel look. The sound system, housed in the spare wheel well, creates a rich sound in the interior.
For those who like to keep things classic
To personalise your #golf and give it a somewhat sportier note, you need look no further than the "Sport and Design" #product range from #volkswagen Accessories, featuring a roof spoiler, central sport tail silencer, diffuser, chrome-look rear strip and pedal cap set. The "Pretoria" 18-inch alloy wheel from the #golf R's R-wheel design programme creates a particular visual highlight – the open double-spoke design of the wheel, available in Sterling Silver or High-Gloss Black, emphasises the Golf's sporty flair.
