Cool Car, Cool Premiere: The New Opel Crossland X Arrives

Rüsselsheim. Stylish for the city with the cool appearance of an SUV – that is Opel’s new #crosslandx. The recently released first photographs are now followed by the newcomer’s debut. And #opel have come up with something very special to celebrate the arrival of the company’s first new #crossover model. #opel CEO Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann and Chief Marketing Officer, Tina Müller will unveil the excitingly different CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) at an unusual location – the trendy hangout ‘Kraftwerk’, right in the heart of Berlin. #opel will reveal the #crosslandx as the highlight of the vernissage for the 2017 #opel calendar on February 1. Around 1,000 invited guests including popular actors and #opel brand ambassadors along with numerous lifestyle and social media influencers will attend the #event. People around the globe will be able to witness Dr. Neumann and Tina Müller unveiling the #crosslandx with a livestream of the debut available as of 19.30 CET.
“We are already Number One in the SUV-B segment with the Mokka X. As our second with the X-factor, the new #crosslandx will further increase the success for the brand and excite many new customers. An innovative trendsetter, the #crosslandx is also an important part of our big #product offensive, which will gain further impetus from the soon-to-be-launched Grandland X,” said Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann.

With its modern two-tone design, numerous innovations and features such as OnStar, the round-the-clock personal emergency assistant or the 180-degree panorama rear view camera, the #crosslandx knows no limits. The extravagant venue of the #premiere is as unusual as the #crosslandx. The “Kraftwerk” (Köpenicker Straße 70, 10179 Berlin) truly represents Berlin’s industrial history with its raw urban flair and is a trendy location for events with that little bit X - tra. The vernissage for the #opel calendar will start at 18.30 CET with the new #opel #crosslandx making its first public appearance just over an hour after the doors open. Just like the unusual location, the #crosslandx offers that certain something. It combines a bold design with the advantages of an SUV and it is perfectly aligned to the urban lifestyle with its crisp exterior dimensions combined with plenty of interior and trunk space. Driver and passengers benefit from the elevated seating position and resulting excellent overview. In addition, the #crosslandx comes with innovations from the premium class ranging from Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL) with full LED headlights, head up display,180-degree Panoramic Rear View Camera, Forward Collision Alert with pedestrian detection right up to the Driver Drowsiness System. The newcomer is also available with Opel-typical outstanding connectivity thanks to #opel OnStar as well as Apple CarPlay and Android #auto compatible IntelliLink infotainment technology.
