Viccarbe at Orgatec - Viccarbe brings the Mediterranean to waiting areas

The #orgatec Trade Fair which is held every two years in Cologne, Germany, brings together all aspects of the future work environment; From contract furniture through to avant-garde communications technology, work stations to waiting areas.

This year #viccarbe, manufacturer of contemporary furniture will
be presenting their most recent collections of seating, designed to offer the Mediterranean lounge experience. #viccarbe represents the values of the Mediterranean; a sensibility for materials and understanding of light which renders the tones of its vibrant colour palette. These qualities are nowhere more important than in waiting and reception areas, often a place where first impressions are made and informal meetings are conducted.

Recent seating collections produced by #viccarbe, such as the Ace Wood (Jean-Marie Massaud), Nagi (Tomoya Tabuchi), Penta (Toan Nguyen) and Brix (Kensaku Oshiro) bring a new visual audacity to the waiting area chair. A hybrid #design that combines the traditional armchair with a unique visual aesthetic making
a designer statement and providing comfort, waiting areas are converted into lounges.

The various modular sofa systems, benches and stand alone sofas made by #viccarbe are the ideal compliment to its waiting area chairs, providing colour and elegance to waiting and reception areas. Sculptural collections such as Levitt (Ludovica + Roberto Palomba) and the modular sofa systems Common (Naoto Fukasawa), Season (Piero Lissoni) and Sistema (Lievore Altherr Molina) rewrite the rules of sustainability and flexibility in terms of how waiting areas are furnished, allowing growth and change as requirements dictate over time. The materials and range of colour schemes selected by #viccarbe, together with the solid and elegant #design of its collections, encourage user collaboration and help create efficient and functional work spaces.
